  • A presenter may only present one poster.
    • Prepare the following sections in plain English text for pasting into the appropriate text boxes during submission. Abstracts cannot be edited after submission. See an example abstract here.
    • Title (maximum 20 words)

Scientific posters may be submitted by a company through the regular on-line mechanism. However, if the poster is only reporting about the capabilities of a product (e.g., instrument, ancillary device, kit, reagent, software) and does not have a main scientific focus, it can only be considered in the Corporate Poster category, for which there is a fee and a designated presentation location in the poster hall.

  • All authors of the abstract have reviewed the abstract and confirm that all information is correct. The authors accept that the content of this abstract cannot be modified or corrected after final submission, and they are aware that it will be published exactly as submitted.
  • Submission of the abstract constitutes consent of all authors of the abstract to publication in relation to the meeting (e.g. conference website, programs, other promotions, etc.). All authors of the abstract warrant and represent that they either are the sole owners of, or have all necessary rights to sublicense, all the information and content in the abstract provided to HUPO and its conference organizers and that publication of the abstract does not infringe any rights, including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights, of any third parties.
  • Contact author and is the person who will be notified about the status of the abstract by the meeting organizers. The presenter of the abstract is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract. If the abstract is accepted for publication at the Conference, the presenter, on behalf of all authors, agrees that it may be published on the Conference website or elsewhere, either prior to or contemporaneously with the Conference, as well as in an Abstract Book that may be distributed in print and or electronically.
  • All authors of the abstract grant HUPO a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and nonexclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display the abstract. All authors of the abstract grant permission to HUPO to record the audio and video portion, if any, of the abstract presentation at the conference and to collect and retain all revenues from all rebroadcasts (including web broadcasts), sales, and publications of such recordings.
  • HUPO reserves the right to remove from any publication any abstract that does not comply with the above.
  • The copyright of the abstract outside of HUPO’s usage remains with the authors of the abstract.
